Vintage Patterson Foosball Table
Item Details
A vintage Patterson foosball table, circa the 1960s. Larry Patterson is known for establishing table soccer in America via his German made coin-operated tables, and is the owner of the ‘foosball’ trademark. This game consists of a brunette red team vs. a blonde-haired blue team. The players are made of plastic with wedge shaped feet, and are attached to metal rods that extend through the table. Hard rubber handles are attached to the playing ends. The ‘field’ shows the Patterson International Corporation name in the center, and is covered in beveled glass. The table is dime-operated.
Condition
There is some water damage to one side of the “field” under the glass, the balls are missing, and one of the two corner ashtrays is missing. One of the goalies is also slightly stiff, and doesn’t turn as easily as the other players. This is still a great collector’s piece.
