Rick Akers is an Ohio based artist most known for his Impressionist style Plein-air paintings. He has a degree from the University of Dayton in commercial design and continued his studies through collecting antiques and vintage paintings. Aker’s work is represented in both local and national collections. He is currently represented by the Sharon Weiss Gallery in Columbus, Ohio.
