A collection of framed U.S. coins and currency sets. This lot includes four framed examples of US coins and currency over time with a brief historical description. There is a framed set of Lincoln Memorial one cent coins from 1959-1971 with 29 coins and a history behind the design. There is also a set of Wartime coinage from WWII explaining the shift in raw materials to aid the war effort and a history of the Silver dollar and silver certificates with a 1921 Morgan silver dollar and Series of 1935 H silver certificate dollar bill. This lot also includes a framed set of twenty-five coins from the 20th Century including Lincoln wheat and memorial cents, Liberty, Buffalo and Jefferson nickels, Barber, Mercury and Roosevelt dimes and Barber, Standing Liberty and Washington quarters. There are also Barber, Walking Liberty, Franklin and Kennedy half dollars, Eisenhower and Peace dollars and a Bronze moon medal. All the coins are housed in walnut framed with gilt accents.
