A small hand-painted Dresden pitcher. The pitcher features an ornate scrolled handle, and exaggerated mouth, small hand-painted flower detail to sides, and alternating light blue and white field, and gilt trim. The piece is marked ‘Dresden Germany’, ‘bec:529, Depose’, and ‘The Ovington Bros. Company’ to bottom. Stamped with ‘828C’. Circa 19th century.

Condition

Some slight wear consistent with age and use.
