Condition
- overall with various scratches, marks, nicks/chips, shrinkage cracks, and abrasions consistent with age and use; scattered finish wear (most notably to verso of exterior); exterior is missing a couple pieces of string inlay along edges; velvet writing surface with some fading, pile and gilding wear, and tears/losses; one flap is no longer hinged, thus loose.
