Monumental 82" Trumpeter Cuckoo Hand-Carved Clock
Item Details
This monumental Trumpeter Cuckoo Clock is hand-carved with deep wood carvings throughout. It measures 82 inches from the top of the antlers to the bottom of the weights and is 53.5 inches wide. The pendulum measures 49 inches. It is weight driven and has the traditional hunting scene with the heavy hand-carved rabbit and pheasant on the sides of the case, with a stag on the top. The clock is accented with bone hands and numerals, and the trumpeter is also bone. It cuckoos every quarter hour, and then after cuckooing on the hour, the trumpeter comes out and trumpets his horn on the appropriate hours.
