A Circa 1940 Rolex Oyster ‘Army’ stainless steel wristwatch. A vintage Rolex produced in the patriotic times of World World II with a bold and chunky design and the distinctive Oyster collection style. This luxury watch has a stainless steel cushion-shaped Oyster case displaying sloped sides and a flat bezel that frames an original white dial with Arabic numerals and blued Mercedes hands. This vintage watch also features a screw-down case, heavy faceted lugs and a period screw-down crown and is set on a leather bracelet with a stainless steel buckle clasp.
