Robert Eickholt, a noted American glass artist, studied glass blowing in Berkeley, California, Ohio State University and the Columbus College of Art and Design. He founded Eickholt Glass studio in Columbus, Ohio in 1978 specializing in incorporating precious metals and oxides into his pieces. Eickholt retired in 2013.
