WWI and Recent Artillery Shells and Brass Gun Piece
Item Details
A great collection of military history featuring these two artillery shells and a solid brass gun part. The largest shell is a 1916 WWI 37mm French artillery shell for model 1885, marked ‘37-85, PDP, 289, 9.’16’. The other shell is M385 Target Practice shell with blue anodized aluminum top, marked ‘CTG 40MM PRACTICE M385’ in black lettering. Rounding out the group is a solid brass gun piece, marked ‘16918-G-8’ with an anchor logo with the letters RGI overtop.
Condition
