Artist Ron Schroder Native American Sculpture

Item Details

A signed 1989 Native American sculpture by artist Ron Schroder. The sculpture appears to be a numbered series piece with ‘/990’ carved on the back of the stone, but the number before it is no longer visible. The cast stone sculpture is a portrait of a Native American emerging from the rock with the front side with carved details and the back left unfinished. His long locks and facial details are highlighted with white paint. The base of the sculpture is knobby driftwood.

Condition

The nose is chipped and it looks like his head has been repaired and re-attached with a strong adhesive, but slightly off in its original position.
