- overall with various scratches, marks, nicks, and abrasions consistent with age and use; scattered veneer cracks, chips, and repairs; variable finish wear/losses and stains (most notably to lid); green silk lining of upper compartment is later and with some stains; drawer interior has been painted green at some point; one of the scrolled leg returns has been reinforced with a later metal bracket on the verso while another has a small loss to the scrolled end; repairs to feet; no key; other possible imperfections, wear, and repairs/restorations.
