Derrick Coles work features themes and imagery relative to family, as well as current social and political climates. Coles is a graduate of Fort Hayes Metropolitan Education High School and has also studied at the University of Cincinnati and Columbus College of Art and Design. He has exhibited at the Martin De Porres Center at the Ohio Dominican University as part of the 2018 Hispanic Heritage Month, and was a featured artist at the Bexley Women’s Club Home and Garden Show in 2019
