Born in Racine, Wisconsin in 1938, Karin Dahl is an abstract artist and an Emeritus Professor of writing at the Ohio State University. She has studied art for 13 years under Jane Heller and Todd Camp. Dahl primarily paints with oil on wood panels, and she utilizes color and texture to interpret themes in nature. She has participated in exhibitions around central Ohio and received the First Place award in the Professional Division at the Bryn Du Regional Art Show. Dahl is currently represented by Art Access of Columbus, Ohio, and she has a solo exhibition scheduled for the summer of 2020 at the Cultural Arts Center in Columbus.
