Tom Baillieul is an Ohio-based artist and the current Exhibitions Coordinator for the Columbus Cultural Arts Center. Born in Massachusetts in 1949, Baillieul is mostly self-taught as an artist. He primarily works with acrylic paint and occasionally textiles and mixed media. Tom Baillieul has stated that he seeks to provoke his audience to challenge and consider their perceptions of reality and their relationship to the world around them. His work has appeared in over 40 juried or solo exhibitions, and Baillieul is currently affiliated with the Terra Gallery in Dublin, Ohio.
