A group of seven different circa 1860 obsolete currency notes including the following: 1861 city of Lynchburg ten cent note, 1862 city of Portsmouth one dollar note, 1861 bank of Howardsville one dollar note, 1862 five dollar Virginia treasury note, 1861 corporation of Winchester ten cents note, 1862 one dollar Virginia treasury note, and an 1861 corporation of Winchester one dollar note. Please see pictures for more details. Size varies up to approximately 6 3/4′ × 2 3/4’. The notes are circulated with varying conditions.
