A fantastic circa 1890 oak Globe Furniture bankers cabinet. A oak cabinet with numerous drawers. Open storage area to bottom left. Right side has a door which had shelving at one time. Exterior doors are removable if desired to showcase the craftsmanship and design. Brass hardware. In February 9, 1882, the business started as an Ohio corporation named The Globe Files Company with George V. Nauerth as the first President. The company grew and expanded from just paper filing systems to office equipment and officially changed the name to The Globe Company in March 1887. Referenced from the Norwood Historical Society.
