Son of renowned folk artist Grandma Moses (Anna Mary Robertson Moses), Forrest King Moses is best known for his folk genre scenes capturing the rural daily activities at the Adirondack Mountains in Eagle Bridge, New York. Influenced by his mother, King Moses renditions are comprised of a naive and simplistic technique full of charming detailing. Following Granda Moses steps, he dabbled into painting later on in his life when he was 56 years old with the purpose of representing the vanishing rural life of his surroundings.
