Stuart Shils is best known for his abstract and plein-air landscapes depicted with gestural brushstrokes and luminous pigments. Shils acquired his artistic training at his hometown in the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts studying under the tutelage of Arthur De Costa and Seymour Remenick. His oeuvre can be found in multiple private and public collections throughout the United States and Ireland.

Condition

- small areas of slight discoloration to the lower left near barn and to the upper right corner; nicks and minor abrasions to the outer edges.
