A set of sterling silver spoons in a velvet-lined presentation box. The spoons were created for The Worshipful Company of Salters, originally one of the medieval guilds of London. The spoons feature a shell bowl and heraldic crest of the Salters Company with their motto, Sal Sapit Omnia, or Salt Savours All wrapped around the stems and displayed on the box lid. They are hallmarked as being made by Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co., Ltd. of London and have an approximate total weight of 1.710 ozt.
