A posthumous restrike etching with drypoint by Rembrandt van Rijn (1609-1669) entitled Three Oriental Figures (Jacob and Laban?). This print depicts three well dressed figures standing before a man in an arched doorway. Rembrandt’s masterful understanding of light, shadow, and form is expressed through an expressive use of line and cross hatching. The etching is signed and dated in plate to the upper left. The piece is matted and mounted in painted wooden frame.

- toning and darkening of edges to paper; slight foxing; slight warp to paper; toning to mat; wear to frame.
