A 1779 Continental Congress $45 currency note. Dated January 14th, 1779, note depicts beehives in a shed on the front with ‘The United States of North America’ in the borders. Note was signed in black ink by George Bond. The nature print on the back is of ground ivy. Printed by Hall and Sellers, 1779. Note is circulated and measures 3 5/8′ × 2 3/4’.
