A hand-carved wooden sculpture entitled Red-Tailed Hawk by William Bishop. This unique piece was commissioned by the wildlife artist and depicts in exquisite detail a gambel’s quail falling prey to a majestic life-sized red-tailed hawk. Presented on a plexiglass rock formation base, the hand-painted wooden sculpture includes an inscribed plaque to its front denoting the piece was originally commissioned for Dave Blakemore.

Condition

-some chips and paint loss to plexiglass base. Minor markings and scratches throughout.
