M57 Swiss Bayonet
Item Details
A very nice M57 Swiss bayonet comes complete with the black composite scabbard. Made for the 7.5 mm. Sturmgewehr 57 assault rifle. The blade is stamped with the makers mark ‘W+F’ on one side and the serial number ‘v 433202’ on the other. The ‘W+F’ indicates assembly by Waffenfabrik Bern. The ‘v’ in the serial number indicates this was a later model with the blade being made by Victorinox.
Condition
Wear to scabbard consistent with age and use. Some wear to sides of the blade due to being removed and placed back into the scabbard. Proper oiling would prevent further wear. Serial number and makers mark are still clearly visible.
