1890s Weyersberg Kirschbaum & Co. Mauser Bayonet
Item Details
An 1890s Weyersberg Kirschbaum & Co. Mauser bayonet. These bayonets were made in Solingen, Germany, for multiple foreign military and police forces. This particular bayonet has a brass grip on the hilt and a black scabbard. Serial number B 9716 matches on the blade and the scabbard. The blade has not been sharpened.
Condition
Scabbard is dented and black coating is severely scratched. Quillon is slightly bent to one side. Serial numbers are worn but still visible. Light rust on quillon and muzzle ring. Makers marks still clear and legible. Overall, condition consistent with age.
