K.C. Truschel was an unknown, self-taught painter from Bradford Woods near Pittsburgh. He painted from 1962-1967 and his work was never shown during his lifetime. His paintings often display themes of man’s shortcomings. His work was exhibited at the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts in 2002.
