20s Redux

The dark, rich hues we are accustomed to seeing on Fall/Winter runways have been replaced by saturated brights. Designers have their heads in the clouds, going full après-ski; Miu Miu even held their runway show on the snow-covered Dolomite mountains in Northern Italy. Get ready to pull out your vintage fair-isle sweaters and hand-crocheted knits, but bring a modern twist by layering them with futuristic puffers in unexpected colors. Don’t forget the shearling and faux-fur, from outerwear to hats to bags; these are a must have for this trend.

Head-to-toe

From fitted and printed at Prada to chic and cozy at Fendi, designers have gone for head to toe ensembles. The best thing about this trend is you can find the right way to wear it for you. If you are bold go for an all over printed catsuit, but if you are a tame dresser simply elevate your loungewear. Either way you’ll be on trend in one of this Fall’s most versatile trends.

Accessories

Harnesses - From sci-fi vibes at Loewe to classic at Gucci, harnesses are going to be an easy way to elevate your button down or dress this season.

Long Gloves - Whether you go for pearl embellishments like seen at Rodarte or classic leather as seen at Marc Jacobs, elbow length gloves are going to bring elegance to your winter accessory game.

Headscarves - This trend was huge for Spring/Summer 2021 and it is not going anywhere. Start brainstorming on ways to make your current collection work for Fall/Winter.

Wide Belts - Do you still cringe at the pictures of you in 2008 wearing a wide belt with everything? Don’t worry we aren’t back there…yet. Wide belts were seen cinching waist over outerwear and dresses.

Single Statement Earring - A trend that we saw emerging last year, wearing a single statement earring, is making a comeback this Fall. We saw this on the runways at Fendi, Givenchy and Prada.

Colorful - Just like with clothing trends this season, saturated colors are trending in jewelry. Mix various colors of gemstones to make a statement and add color to your neutral fits.

Animal Themed - From whimsical at Coach and Acne Studios to glamorous at Oscar de la Renta, jewelry on the runways this season is a magical menagerie.
