A vintage beautiful Bakhtiari garden design hand knotted wool area rug. Featuring cypress trees and other blooming trees, the cypress is a Persian motif, a variant of the tree of life representing everlasting or eternal life. This detailed directional rug includes a major stylized floral chain-type border, and four minor borders on a cream field, in tones of red, navy, pink, sage and tan. Rug is size 4’ 2′ × 6′ 6’. Appears to have a fine knot count, approximately 420 per square inch.
