Pair of Early 20th Century Tall Ovoid Chinese Porcelain Vases In Display Cabinets

A pair of early 20th century ovoid Chinese porcelain vases in display cabinets. Vases are ribbed in an ovoid shape, tapered at both ends, with a bluish-gray high glaze finish. Vases include a dark stained teak carved stand, and are placed in a modern illuminated case with glass sides and a speckled pecan finish. Each vase includes a Chinese chop marks on the base. The chop mark reads ‘Da Qing Qianlong Nian Zhi’ – translates to Great Qing Dynasty, Qianlong Period, Made. Qing dynasty is 1616 to 1912 The vases belonged to the Closson family and date to when the house was built in 1923. Vases are thought to be early 20th century export ware.
